After two successful work trips, I decided it was time for a little fun! I met up with my two very best friends, Stila and Owlivia, in Waco, Texas. We visited the Cameron Park Zoo, ate delicious food, and had a silly slumber party at the hotel. I’m so glad I have amazing friends to share special trips like this with.
Washington, D.C. & North Bethesda, Maryland
February 11 - 16, 2024
My second trip took me to the nation’s capital of Washington, D.C.! I also went to North Bethesda, Maryland. I learned a lot on this trip about my job and had a blast pretending I was the President of the United States being chauffeured around the city. I spent Valentine’s Day working, but thankfully I love my job!!
Knoxville, Tennessee
January 21 - 27, 2024
I’d like you to please follow along with my first adventure from January 21 to January 27, 2024, detailing my journey to Knoxville. The trip begins with a pleasant breakfast in the American Airlines Admirals Lounge and a comfortable flight. However, the traveler faces some transportation challenges upon arrival, eventually getting a hotel shuttle. After settling into the Home2Suites by Hilton Alcoa Knoxville, I enjoyed some ramen for dinner.
The following days are filled with work, home-cooked meals, and moments of relaxation, including orange juice for breakfast and creative leftover dinners. Minor inconveniences occur, such as a lack of coffee at the hotel and a smoke alarm while making popcorn. On my last day, I helped pack for the return trip, enjoyed shopping at the airport, and savored a good flight home. Overall, the journey is a successful mix of work and personal enjoyment.
